Dr.
Petersen received an MBA from Harvard Business School
in 1972 and a JD from the University of Bochum in 1970.
He was associate and principal at McKinsey & Co. in
Düsseldorf from 1972-1981. From 1981-1986 he was Treasurer/EVP
at Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH. He then became managing
director of Altana AG a public corporation and part
of the Quandt group). From '87-'90, he was CEO of Prince
of Thurn und Taxis central board. He then became partner

Wasserstein, Perella & Co. and managing director - Germany
until 1997. There after, he became an independent advisor,
manager and investor for private equity. |
