E. Winkelbauer, Senior Vice President
of International Branches and Country and Bank Risk
Management, joined RZB in 1980 after having worked
seven and a half years for Chase Manhattan Bank in
Frankfurt and New York.
After his credit training at Chase
Frankfurt and New York, he had several assignments
in New York and Frankfurt, covering credit and marketing,
as well as control functions. Before establishing
RZB´s London Branch in 1989, he was the Head
of RZB´s Foreign Loan Department responsible
for all aspects of trade and project finance as well
as RZB´s syndicated lending activities.
He was born and educated in Vienna
and graduated from Vienna University with a law degree
in 1972. He is married and has one son.
